Heroes darts fiesta set for Chikanga

DARTS players from different parts of the province are expected to converge at Beer Engine in Chikanga high-density suburb for the inaugural two day Beer Engine Heroes Darts tournament set to start on August 8.The event starts at 2pm.
Beer Engine Darts Club manager, Gabriel Canary, confirmed the development.
Canary said there would be some monetary prizes for winners.

He said the club would also hold a raffle competition where winners would walk away with prizes.
“We will have our first Heroes Darts competition at Beer Engine at Old Spar in Chikanga high-density suburb. This is the first time that we are hosting this competition, but all the same we are expecting more than 40 players to turn out for the event.
“Players from different parts of the province from Chipinge, Chimanimani, Honde Valley, Nyanga and other areas are expected to take part in this competition.

“We are also going to have monetary prizes for the winners. As a club, we have also organised a raffle competition that will also see winners winning different prizes,” he said.
Participants who will take part as individuals will compete in cocktail trips as well as singles.

Admission for each player has been set at $1 for singles and the same amount per player in the trips.
“We are inviting all players, old and new, to come and enjoy the game of darts. We sincerely believe that we have a lot of darts talent in Manicaland and all we need is to find ways of promoting it hence this is one of the ways we feel we might nurture the talent in the province for future competitions,” said Canary.
