BULAWAYO-BASED company High Peak Marketing, trading as High Peak Hardware is a leading hardware company that has become a pivotal player in the construction industry by becoming a one-stop shop.

High Peak Marketing was established in 1997, with its main line being the supply of building and hardware materials. High Peak has now introduced a new line of services and products, which will be supplying and producing conveyor idlers to the mining industry.

“This has seen a renowned South African company Tech Edge group teaming up with High Peak to enhance the expertise and together creating an unstoppable force in the mining, manufacturing, agriculture and electro-mechanical consultations and project management,” he said.

The Tech Edge Group is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and has more than 85 years experience in providing state-of-the-art engineering solutions to the mining industries. The company manufactures Fultons range of winders. Fultons winders are designed to the highest quality standards and are renowned for their robustness and they are user friendly.

Tech Edge Group’s winder division designs and manufactures small, medium and large multi-drum, double-drum and single-drum winder systems for the mining industries.

The company also offers a range of customised services, including the design, manufacture, installation, refurbishment and upgrade of winches, winders and hoists, OEM inspections, audits and provision of spares.

High Peak also has a roof truss manufacturing plant approved by MITEK Zimbabwe, an internationally recognised brand.

“In order to further meet customer demand and expectations, High Peak has acquired machinery to manufacture roof trusses to customer specification. This equipment is installed at our Belmont premises,” said Mr Mugabe.

High Peak strives to provide fast, efficient service to all its clients while keeping abreast of the latest technology trends on the global market and maintaining the highest quality products in line with international standards.

“In addition we have since opened the mechanical division, which deals with all mining and manufacturing companies. The products range from idlers and frames of different designs to suit customer specification, headgears of different tonnages and designs winders, hoist and the new electro-mechanical technology consultant services,” said Mr Mugabe.

Products are mainly but not limited to the mining industry; but include the construction industry as well.

High Peak is a major stockist and supplier of electric cables, plumbing material, bath tubs, basins, geysers, pipes, building material, tools, ceiling boards, timber, bison boards, gum poles, pine and meranti doors, wall and floor tiles, roofing sheets, roof tiles (Armatile), asbestos sheets and many other products.
