HIGHLANDERS have confirmed meeting Hardock over Mongameli Tshuma for a possible move to the Kwekwe based side in 2027.
Social media has been awash with stories about the creative midfielder’s a move.

The transfer window closed on Friday last week without a deal struck for the mesmerising lankish star from Iminyela.

Highlanders acting chairman Kindman Ndlovu confirmed meeting Hardrock officials on Monday but could not give much detail.

It is believed Hardrock are happy signing on the player and keeping him in Bulawayo until next year. They are an ambitious side and believe the linkman has qualities of a component they want to be part of the mean machine they are assembling.

They are believed to have made a bid of US$250 000.

“For Mongameli, we had a meeting with yesterday to listen to the Hardrock offer and discuss a potential deal.
“Once signed you will be one of the first people to know,” Ndlovu assured Zimpapers Sports Hub.

Hardrock boss Wellington Mupandare could not be reached for comment on the issue.

The former Hwange and Zebra Revolution star has been a revelation this year with brilliant performances that have won him national team caps.

He has been Highlanders’ missing link of many years, creating goals, penalties and giving fans something to eject them off their seats with some skillful and intelligent football.
