Highlanders loan defender to Arenel

HIGHLANDERS defender Andrew Tandi has been loaned to Premiership team Arenel for the rest of the season.

The move was confirmed by Highlanders communications officer Nozibelo Maphosa.

“Tandi will finish the rest of the season with Arenel where he has been sent on loan,” said Maphosa.

Tandi has struggled to get game time at Highlanders this season. The defender fractured his right fibula (calf bone) and dislocated his ankle in the abandoned Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match against Dynamos at Barbourfields Stadium in May 2022 and the defender has not been the same since then.  Tandi will be hoping to get some game time at Arenel. -@innocentskizoe
