It happened in the 5-3 win over Hardbody at Barbourfields Stadium, it happened at Mandava Stadium in the 3-1 win over FC Platinum and now the Black Mambas match. Down but not out, Hwange got their goals through Aaron Katebe and Daniel Kamunenga.
There was also some drama at Ascot Stadium in Gweru where Chicken Inn tasted defeat for the first time this season although in controversial fashion. Hardbody won by a solitary goal scored by Callisto Maheya in the 75th minute.
The goal, which appeared to have been cleared off the line by Brian Mbiriri after Njabulo Nyoni had been beaten caused a two-minute stoppage as Chicken Inn players and officials protested.
But Masvingo based Masakadza Makonese who has been lucky with match assignments of late, stood his ground. He seemed to struggle with his fitness and his communication with his assistants was in most instances too slow.
Chicken Inn could have wrapped up the game in the first half but paid the price for poor finishing.
