HIPPO Valley Estates Limited has officially launched its 70th anniversary celebrations.
The copany with celebrate seven decades of operations, growth and influence in Zimbabwe’s agricultural and industrial landscape.
The launch was held during a ceremony that brought together company executives, members of the media and representatives of Orchestra Mberikwazvo.
It set the tone for a series of commemorative events leading up to the main gala.
Hippo Valley Estates Corporate Communications Manager, Anne Nyakunu, said the occasion symbolised more than a formal agreement.
“It represented the coming together of key partners who would help us celebrate a remarkable milestone in the history of Hippo Valley Estates Limited, seventy years of growth, resilience, community impact and nation building.”

As part of the celebrations, the company has partnered veteran sungura musician Alick Macheso, who is expected to headline the anniversary gala scheduled for May 30 at Chishamiso Stadium in Chiredzi.
“We were equally excited to partner with one of Zimbabwe’s most celebrated musical icons, Alick Macheso,” said Nyakunu.
“His music has transcended generations and continues to unite people across the country and beyond.
“As Hippo Valley Estates celebrates 70 years of heritage and excellence, we believe it is fitting to work with an artist whose contribution to Zimbabwean culture and entertainment reflects the same spirit of endurance, relevance and national pride.”
