Harare Institute of Technology Registrar, Mr Herbert Njonga and the founder of Local Authorities Digital Systems (LADS) Africa, a HIT start-up, are set to testify before the Harare Commission of Inquiry.

The two are expected to shed light on the controversy surrounding the City Council’s alleged rejection of a locally-developed US$350 000 enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in favour of a multi-million-dollar foreign alternative.

The duo will also furnish the commission with findings about the city’s shambolic financial system.
