A 42-year-old Glen View man is on the run for raping his wife.
The husband is reported to have demanded to be intimate with his 39-year-old wife, but she refused.
He is said to have forced himself on her and she reported him for rape.
Acting Harare provincial police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Faith Mapisa, has appealed for information that may lead to the arrest of the man.
“The wife and her husband were sleeping in their bedroom and the husband asked for sex, but was turned down since she was not feeling well.
“The husband forcibly had unprotected sexual intercourse with the wife once. The wife later found out that her husband was on ARV treatment.
“The victim has since been referred to Sally Mugabe Hospital for medical examination,” said Ass-Insp Mapisa.
