Musona proved to be a revelation during his time with the Amakhosi and his impressive performances earned him a move over to the Bundesliga team, however, things haven’t gone quite as planned for the youngster and he didn’t receive as much game time as he would have liked.
The Norton-born striker scored 15 league goals for the Glamour Boys in his final season at the club and he will be hoping that he can rekindle that kind of form when he joins up with his new teammates in Bavaria.
Despite falling out of favour at Hoffe, it is thought that Musona does still have a future at the club and they hope that he will return from his time at Augsberg ready to take on the Bundesliga for Hoffenheim.
Augsberg finished 14th in the German league last year.
At Hoffenheim, the Aces Academy graduate played just 373 minutes out of a possible 3 060 minutes in league matches.— Online/Sports Reporter.
