Hooker goes berserk after client fails to pay for sex

A SELF-confessed Hwange prostitute went berserk and stoned a truck after the driver who had hired her for sex failed to pay $20 for the services, a Hwange magistrate heard. Magistrate Portia Mhlanga heard this when Bokani Nyoni, 25, of Madumabisa suburb appeared before her. Nyoni who also tried to stab Tauya Gwafa, the driver, was charged with malicious damage to property after she broke the truck’s windscreen.

Gwafa, of Chitekete Business Centre in Gokwe, was camped at the Truck Stop in Hwange when he allegedly picked Nyoni for sex. The court heard that chaos ensued when Gwafa’s girlfriend, only identified as Gloria arrived while the two were having sex and demanded that Nyoni leaves the truck. Nyoni, the court heard, immediately demanded $20 for her services.

The magistrate convicted Nyoni on her own plea of guilty and sentenced her to nine months in jail. Nyoni was however, spared the agony of jail life after the magistrate suspended six months on condition she completes 210 hours of community service at Hwange Secondary School.

The remaining three months were suspended on condition Nyoni pays Gwafa $700 for the damaged windscreen before December 4.

Nyoni said she got angry when Gwafa refused to pay after hiring her for sex.

“He picked me at Truck Stop and said he would pay me $20 for my services. We had sex in the truck at Truck Stop and later went to Number 2 where we had sex again,” said Nyoni.

“His girlfriend came and knocked on the window of the truck and that’s when Gwafa ordered me to leave his truck. I demanded my money and he refused to pay and I got angry,” she said.
