LOG leaders Hotspurs Leopards consolidated their position at the top of the Zifa Matabeleland North Division 2A League after edging troubled Amagagasi Under-19 2-1 at Ralyton ground in Dete on Sunday.

Goals by Macdonald Furau and Courage Ngulube ensured the Dete-based Leopards remain the only side yet to drop a point as the race entered Week 3.

Ambitious Baobab Rovers moved into second position thanks to a 5-0 demolition of basement side Corinthians at Chinotimba Stadium on Sunday.
