HOW MANY BUSINESSMEN HAS SOCIAL MEDIA PERSONALITY DUPED?

YET another businessman has come forward claiming he belongs to the list of people who have been conned by controversial social media personality Kudakwashe Hove.

Even though Hove was jailed in January last year for consuming food at a local restaurant, without paying, he appears to have been duping a lot of people using his evil formula.

In February this year, he was dragged to court to face other fraud charges.

And last week, he was accused of duping a businessman, who sold him meat worth US$100, which he did not pay for.

Now, another businessman has come forward, after reading an article we published in this newspaper yesterday.

“He came to my business premises on January 25 saying he wanted to buy a Samsung Galaxy A14 for his mother’s birthday.

“He told the sales lady that he would pay by electronic transfer and he presented that POP.

“He was told the company policy is to release goods upon funds reflecting in our bank account.

“He pleaded to get the phone in the afternoon as his mother’s party was in the evening.

“The funds never reflected and we realised it was a fraudulent transaction and we reported the case at Harare Central Police Station under reference number IR 011720.

“He has been on the run and all efforts by the police to arrest him have not yielded results.

“Last week he reached me on my number and said he wanted to make a payment plan, but he never showed up.”
