HARARE City got a morale-booster ahead of their Castle Lager Premier League clash against Highlanders at Rufaro tomorrow when they were given a full kit yesterday. The Sunshine Boys received a set of Kappa jerseys from a partner based in the United States who refused to be named. Speaking at the handover ceremony, Harare City’s Chairman Business Committee, Peter Moyo, who played a big role in sourcing the kit, said his club was delighted with the donation.
“As Harare City we are overwhelmed by the kind donation done by one of our partners based in United States. It is our wish to have more of these partners as it improves morale of our team,” said Moyo. Coach Taurai Mangwiro said he will welcome back most of his players ahead of the game against Bosso tomorrow.
“I can say the break was a blessing in disguise as we are going to welcome back most of our players who were out injured or suspended,” said Mangwiro. “We will welcome back our skipper David Kutyauripo, Crispen Dickson and James Jam who have been working hard since Tuesday.
“We went to the break suffering from bad form and I think that is a thing of the past. “We are focused on the job at hand, the 1-1 draw in the first game cannot be looked into very much, and we are focusing on this game. “Our opponents are dangerous in times like these and looking at where they are sitting they cannot be taken lightly.
“We will try to get all the three points as we also need to finish on a high note. “With a full team we are ready for them and we hope to come up with a result.” Kutyauripo has also called on his teammates to win the remaining games. “The injury was a major setback but I think I am back and as Diva I expect something positive,” he said.
“The team has been working hard.”
