Hubby apologies, reunites with wife in court

“At one point he threatened to kill me. He assaults and insults me, this is affecting the children,” she said.

In his response Nazir asked for forgiveness to God on all the wrong things he did to his wife.

“I agree Your Worship, I have been abusive towards my better half although it was not intentional,” he said.

Nazir told the court that he was out of his job for the past three months and was not able to meet family needs.

He also admitted to threatening to kill his wife but blamed it on anger during the heat of an argument.

The court also heard that Nazir sold household property but wanted to put food on the table.

“I didn’t mean it but when people are angry they are bound to say things. We are now back together your Worship, I pray that my wife accepts my apology,” he said.

Louana told Magistrate Tatenda Manhanzva that indeed her husband was a changed man.

Magistrate Manhanzva granted the protection order in Louana’s favour.

“I don’t see the protection order being in use since you swore before the Lord, the gallery and me that you won’t abuse your wife.

“In the order I won’t bar you from the matrimonial home. Go and love your wife,” she said.
