A Bulawayo man approached the Customary Court seeking to dissolve his marriage of five years claiming his wife preferred pornography after he discovered images of naked men in her cellphone.
Thulani Moyo who also suspected that his wife Sithandazile Mpofu was cheating on him claimed that the day he got hold of her cellphone he was greeted by a string of naked images of men.
He also stated that there was no love anymore between him and Mpofu reiterating that their marriage had irretrievably broken down and there were no prospects of a restoration to a normal relationship.
a�?Our union has irretrievably broken down and there are no prospects of restoration to a normal relationship because the parties have irreconcilable differences which render the continuance of the relationship impossible.
a�?The parties have also lost love and affection for each other. The applicant cannot continue staying with the respondent who is cheating on him and denying him his conjugal rights.
a�?The respondent is also someone who likes pornography. Applicant found images of naked men in her cellphone which he suspected were of her boyfriends,a�? read the submissions in part.
He also indicated that Mpofu was in the habit of using abusive language and calling him a useless man even in the presence of their children and neighbours.The matter is set to be heard on 28 December. .
