ZIM Hip-hop artist, Huby Blakes, has dropped a love video to the song Kamunakiro.
The singer-turned-entrepreneur appreciates women’s contribution in relationships.
“Kamunakiro kacho kanoita kuti ukunde hwahwa, you are an angel. I am not clever if I don’t spend a day with you.
“I get busy if I don’t see you, you overtake beer, hot like fire.
“Kamunakiro is the first single and visuals from my upcoming EP project to be dropped this coming year.
“I am so happy I managed to strike a brand partnership deal with Myoozika on my first single and video release from the upcoming EP,” he said.
Blakes said Myoozika is a platform for sharing and showcasing African music.
“On this platform the content creator and the end user are both rewarded for the use of the platform.
“Its main objective is to promote and advertise African performing arts.
“All I can say is that it was an amazing and exciting experience shooting these visuals.
“The video was directed by Sir Peter and it starred the actress Shazreen. The song featured Adamson and was produced by Nyasha Timbe.
“This music video would not have been successful without the help of Mugranoce, Mr and Mrs M.
“The Kamunakiro music video is available on my YouTube Channel and on ZimTalent TV.”
He rose to prominence in 2016 with his breakout hit track Mai Vadhikondo, which became an instant national and international sensation, with over a million YouTube views.
At the 2019 Zimbabwe Musical Awards, he received two nominations for his exceptional efforts – Best Alternative Artist and Best Dance for his song entitled Shekeda.
The singer recently unveiled his debut studio album, Homeboy, which features the country’s number one song Pamusinganzwe.
