Hurt Bosso date equally bruised TelOne

IF ever Highlanders see the colour blue which is associated with their arch rivals Dynamos, their blood naturally heats up, seething with hunger to send them to the cleaners with an emphatic score-line.

This can be exemplified by recent DeMbare’s back-to-back defeats they suffered at the hands of Bosso. Interestingly, TelOne dons the same blue and white colours that resemble that of Glamour Boys and what would one expect from a bruised Bosso who are smarting from 2-1 defeat to Simba Bhora?

It was a result that Bosso gaffer head coach Kelvin Kaindu refused to accept citing poor match officiating that went in favour of Simba Bhora.

“We didn’t lose the match, I think the game was decided by match officials. Unfortunately, we have been hearing that certain teams are winning in strange ways,” said Kaindu.

The God-fearing Kaindu is not usually associated with such comments and for sure the Zambian gaffer was hurt to the marrow. Come Sunday, it will not be only about colours but TelOne, who are fondly known as WiFi Boys, are under the guidance of ex DeMbare head coach Herbert Maruwa.

TelOne FC head coach, Herbert Maruwa

Barbourfields Stadium will be the place to be and Maruwa and his charges will certainly carry the cross on behalf of Dynamos. In other matches, Former champions FC Platinum will entertain Herentals at Mandava Stadium. Herentals were edged 1-0 by basement side Arenel Movers who are now under the guidance of Philani “Beefy” Ncube. Ncube took over from Farai Tawachera.

Chicken Inn will fight it out against ZPC Kariba at Nyamhunga Stadium. Yadah Stars will square it off against Bulawayo Chiefs who have posted two consecutive defeats falling to Highlanders and Hwange in their Week 19 and

Week 20 fixtures.
Chipangano, who now have veterans Dominic Chungwa, Winston Mhango and Raymond Uchena in their books, will welcome Simba Bhora at Colliery Stadium. Rufaro Stadium will be the venue of the game between Dynamos and Bikita Minerals. Greenfuel will have a date with Chegutu Pirates at Greenfuel Arena. Inconsistent Manica Diamonds have a home tie against defending champions Ngezi Platinum Stars at Sakubva Stadium.
