IN shocking revelations from the courts, Meluleki Ndlovu, the husband to the late Siphiwe Ndlovu (33) from Burombo Hostels in Bulawayo, is being charged with murder after he allegedly threw his wife through the window from the third floor during a dispute.
This is contrary to earlier reports that the deceased had committed suicide by jumping from the window of their third floor apartment at Burombo Hostels on Saturday.
Ndlovu (44) yesterday appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Mr Maxwell Ncube facing murder charges and was remanded in custody to 4 March.
Ndlovu is alleged to have assaulted his late wife, Siphiwe, with open hands before throwing her through the window, according to court papers.

The deceased is said to have landed on her stomach whilst still holding keys to the apartment that was locked from inside.
Witnesses who knew the couple said Ndlovu and the deceased struggled financially, a situation that could have contributed to a series of gender based violence incidents in the home.
The late Siphiwe succumbed to injuries at Mpilo Central Hospital on Sunday, a day after she was allegedly thrown out.
The deceased’s aunt, Mrs Patience Phiri, said the family struggled financially as both husband and wife were unemployed.
“Meluleki was self-employed and transported client’s goods in a push cart around the Renkini Bus Terminus area and my niece occasionally did piece jobs such as laundry and cleaning people’s houses,” she told the Chronicle on Monday.
“The family struggled financially and to add to that the husband drank heavily.
“The financial situation in their home could have been the reason Meluleki beat his wife a lot,” said Mrs Phiri.
She said the couple had been together for about 10 years and have a nine-year-old daughter.
On Monday afternoon Ndlovu was brought back to the scene of the crime at Burombo Flats for police indications.
Meanwhile, Mourners are gathered at number G159 Mzilikazi suburb.
