A STAY in a houseboat, sampling some of Kariba’s tourist attractions and some football.
That was the way Hustlers 11 FC spent the weekend in the resort town of Kariba where they featured in a social football tournament.
They also took time to relax and sample some of the town’s attractions.
The team, which was staying in a houseboat, went game viewing, birdwatching, and fishing.
The players also joined the annual October Festival hosted by Zimevents, which featured the Hatipfeke Junk streetwear’s first anniversary.
Speaking to H-Metro, Hustlers 11 chairperson, Tinashe Gukushu, said they had a lot of fun in Kariba. “It was more than just a football show for us.
“Being in Kariba was one of the best things that ever happened to us as a team as there were many partners who came and supported us,” Gukusha said.
“Some of our cheerleaders were also with us and it lit the atmosphere.
“I believe many people and individuals should also take part in these events, which boost our local tourism. “We hope many social teams will take a leaf from us and join us next time and have fun galore,” he said.
