Hwange Circuit to try 18 cases

THE third term of the Hwange High Court Circuit opens on Monday with 18 cases, including that of a self-proclaimed inyanga from Victoria Falls who administered enema known as ukuphozisa in isiNdebele to a client leading to his death.
All matters set down are murder cases.
The third term is expected to end on 22 November.
In the enema case, the accused Sitshengisiwe Mzombe of Victoria Falls allegedly administered the concoction to her client who later died as a result.

Enema is the injection of liquid or herbs through the bottom to motivate evacuation of uncomfortable bloating and constipation.
According to the criminal cause list, the first case to be heard will be that of Thembinkosi Ncube from Inyathi who allegedly stabbed another man to death sometime this year.

There is also the case of Rabson Sibanda and Tshaka Ndlovu who, in a movie style, allegedly took turns to shoot at another man using catapults and one of the stones hit him on the head leading to his death.

Another case is that of Everton Ndlovu also from Inyathi who allegedly struck a villager with a stone and then stabbed him with a spear several times all over the body.
