MADAM Boss says she has all her ribs and claims that some of her ribs were removed when she underwent surgery are FALSE.
She spoke to H-Metro to provide a detailed account of the medical procedures she underwent and says her weight loss journey was inspired by a condition which she had.
The social media influencer, actress and entrepreneur has been accused of being obsessed with trying to get a body similar to the one which music superstar Beyonce has.
However, she said:
“I do not regret losing weight after that surgery and I like my new look.
“Let it be known, I do not know how you are going to clarify this, handiraramire vanhu uye handina basa nekuti vanhu kana munhu anotikudii nezvangu. To put the record straight, none of my ribs were removed as some are saying.
“Do you think it’s real for one to live without ribs, I am yet to know if one can live without any of the ribs.”
She said life has its fair share of challenges.
“We have no control of some challenges, disabilities can happen and we are left with no choice other than consulting a surgeon.
“I did not want to have fun with surgeons but I had to face it. To me, it started as a weight loss journey due to the condition I had.
“After losing my weight ndakazowona kuti katumbu kangu kakanga kakungorembera.
“I decided to go for liposuction.
“Liposuction is a type of surgery. It uses suction to remove fat from specific areas of the body, such as the stomach, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms or neck. Liposuction also shapes these areas.”
She added: “From there I had to undergo a gastric balloon to remove fat.
“It is also known as an intragastric balloon and it is a temporary medical device used to assist with weight loss.
“It’s a soft, inflatable balloon placed in the stomach through an endoscope to help reduce the amount of food someone can eat and make them feel full sooner.”
She said the surgery she underwent was very expensive and she feels sorry for people who might have such a condition without enough money to approach surgeons.
Madam Boss gained fame from her online content and she has expanded her influence locally and internally.
She also opened some businesses and has won awards for her influence on the social media space.
