A CHEGUTU woman, who claims to have been experiencing spiritual attacks for the past three years, is appealing for help.

Tafadzwa Mutyambizi told H-Metro that she has not lived a peaceful life since the attacks started, saying they have ruined her life and that of her children.

“The problem started in 2021 as a minor headache.

“I felt some pounding in my head and it increased each day.

“I went for medical check-ups and at first, I was told that it was high blood pressure,” said Tafadzwa.

She said in her next check-up she was told her blood pressure was normal and doctors couldn’t diagnose her actual condition.

Tafadzwa said the problem has worsened to a point she feels as if she was being assaulted.

“Ndinongorohwa nezvandisingaone pamuviri wangu wese,” said Tafadzwa.

She has sought help from different people, but to no avail.

“I approached different churches, including apostolic sects, but none have been able to help.

“I am appealing to anyone who can help me because this has affected my whole life, family and especially the children.

“Imagine I spend the whole day sleeping, feeling serious pain and unable to fend for my children.”

She said the attacks had also ruined her relationship with her husband.

“In as much as my husband tried to look for solutions, he is now tired.

“It has affected him also as the attacks do not spare me even during sexual intercourse.”

Tafadzwa said she feared the attacks would eventually kill her.
