A 30-year-old man is pleading for help to undergo heart surgery in India.

Wilberforce Matashu said he couldn’t afford to raise the US$24 000 required for him to undergo the surgery.

“My medical condition requires an urgent operation in India because no one can do it locally.

“I have incurred huge medical expenses and I am now struggling to keep up with the bills and living expenses.

“I am appealing to fellow Zimbabweans for assistance.

“I am currently unable to work due to my medical condition and my savings have depleted as a result of the medical expenses,” he said.

The US$24 000 would cover doctors’ fees and his stay in India.

Matashu can be contacted on 0775928903.
