ICT Ministry hosts 3rd edition of the Stakeholders’ Interface meeting

THE Ministry of Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services is today hosting the third edition of its engagement meeting with stakeholders in Harare, at an event dubbed the “Ministerial Interface between ICT Ministry and Stakeholders in Zimbabwe.”

The engagement is being held at the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) headquarters and comes on the back of two similar engagements held in 2024 and 2025.

ICT Minister Dr Tatenda Mavetera, accompanied by her deputy, Cde Dingumuzi Phuti, and ICT Permanent Secretary Dr Beulah Chirume, is taking part in the discussions, which are aimed at creating a digitised Zimbabwe.

Also present at the event are Potraz director-general Dr Gift Machengete and Zimpost Postmaster-General Mr Maxwell Chitendeni. Other stakeholders represented include Econet, DFA, Telco, Liquid, Powertel, Compulink, Dandemutande, ICT Ministry directors, among other ICT players.
