IDC in talks over Bonnezim

Bonnezim which closed a few years ago.
The company, an agro-processing concern, closed after facing serious viability challenges. Bonnezim requires US$1,6 million to reopen, part of which would be used to clear debt.
Company chairman Mr Brian Mushohwe said a number of investors had shown interest, and a deal was likely before the end of next month.
“There are people who are interested in Bonnezim whom we are talking to,” he said.
The company, which exported canned vegetables, ran into viability problems following the downturn in the agricultural sector. At its peak, Bonnezim earned as much as three million euros from exports. – New Ziana.
