If l were a bird

If l were a bird,

Life would be so beautiful,

I could go anywhere I wanted,

I could eat sweet ripe fruits from trees,

My life would be so different,

If l were a melodious bird, l would sing melodious songs.

 

If l were a bird,

I would fly in the bright sky till sunset,

And see the sun drowning in the sea,

I would catch fish from rivers,

I would hide from the prying eyes,

I would fly and take a nap in the trees,

If I were a bird.
