Ilunga joins Glamour Boys

DYNAMOS have completed the signing of Black Rhinos forward, Elie Ilunga.

He penned a two-year deal yesterday after spending a week on the negotiation table.

The lanky forward announced his arrival in the Castle Lager Premiership at Chauya Chipembere by netting 11 times.

He was also voted onto the Castle Lager Soccer Stars of the Year calendar by coaches, club captains and sports journalists.

IIunga told H-Metro he will always reserve a special place in his heart for Rhinos.

“I’m happy with the move. I’m feeling excited and happy to join one of the biggest clubs in the country.

“I want to help the club achieve its goals by scoring as many goals as possible.

“Black Rhinos will always stay in my heart.

“I want to thank the army club’s family, the management, technical staff, players and coaches for extending their kindness to me during my tenure.”

He added:

“I believe I have made the right choice and I want to remember the move as the greatest decision of my career.

“I’m hoping everything will go according to plan and I’m so excited by this new challenge.”

DeMbare are now Ilunga’s third club since coming to the country.

He was initially lured by FC Platinum upon his arrival in 2020, but left the champions on mutual consent, without playing a single league match.
