AFRO-FUSION artiste, Andy Muridzo, says he will not stop exploring different genres in his album.
The Jeetaz Band is set to launch his new album, titled ‘‘Zunza,’’ on Friday at Bar Rouge housed at Longcheng Plaza in Belvedere.
Speaking to H-Metro, his manager Ronald Mujuru, said the musician added a variety of styles in the album.
“For this new album, people are supposed to expect different genres that Andy has not played before.
“We tried our best to make sure that we give our fans a variety so that they get to enjoy themselves.
“The genres found in the new album include gospel, jiti, rhumba, museve.
“He also did an English song.
“There also is a song that has a Botswana beat in it and the rest of the songs have the traditional beats that people are used to know Andy playing,” he said.
The album comes with 12 tracks, plus a bonus one.
“Some of the songs found on the album are Zunza, Ndinonzani, Mutengambiri, Usangane Neni, Shoko Remufi, Place Out There, Chatamba Chana, Hwahwa, Nyakasikana, Mwana Uyu.
“All of his tracks were produced by T.Man,” said Mujuru.
The manager said Andy will be supported by an array of artistes on his big day.
“We have invited a number of artists on the day.
“Some of them, who have confirmed, are Allan Chimbetu, Sulu Chimbetu, Diana Samukange, Progress Chipfumo and more that you will get to see on the day,” he told H-Metro.
