SUNGURA musician, Paradzai Mesi, has dismissed rumours of death.

Rumours have been circulating on various social media platforms claiming the sungura artist committed suicide.

The Njerama Boys leader has been sick lately and some people assumed he died.

In an interview with H-Metro, he said:

“The gossip about my death is totally false.

“I’m still alive, yes, I was sick but not to a coffin level.”

Paradzai said he was shocked  and  disturbed by the news.

“I am unhappy because of the sick rumour about my death because it’s not the first time.

“That’s the tradition of people, whenever I am silent.

“They always spread gossip about my life and I will let them talk about whatever they want to talk about,” he said.

Meanwhile, Paradzai has lined up a series of shows before year-end.

He is also set to release his 13th  album.

“I am working on an album which will be released any time before the end of this  year.

“The theme of this upcoming album is motivated by people’s perceptions about my life.

“God gave me another chance to live and showcase my talent and prove to people that I’m still kicking.

“I am also going to resume shows soon because I’m now fit and energetic,” said Paradzai.
