India book place in U-19 ICC World Cup final

India have secured a place in the 2026 ICC U-19 World Cup with a seven wicket victory over Afghanistan in the second semi-final played at Harare Sports Club today.

Afghanistan won the toss and elected to field before being restricted to 310 for the loss of four wickets in 50 overs.

Despite the target looking modest, India came determined to chase the target.

They managed to chase the target inside 41 overs.

India will now meet England in the final of the tournament on Friday at Harare Sports Club.

This will be India’s 11th final of the tournament.
