Infantino welcomes Magwizi into the Fifa family

ON Tuesday, Fifa president Gianni Infantino officially welcomed Zifa president Nqobile Magwizi into the world’s football governing body’s family.

In a brief statement, Zifa said in the pivotal meeting, “they discussed key issues in Zimbabwean football and explored ways to drive the game forward.”

Magwizi was recently elected the new Zifa boss to officially replace Felton Kamambo, whose tenure was cut short after his entire board was suspended by the Sports Recreation Commission (SRC).
