For February, Kenya’s inflation rate rose to 3,5 percent from 3,3 percent in January.
Zimbabwe’s inflation slowed to 17,6 percent month on month in November, from 38,75 percent in October, data from Zimbabwe National Statistical Agency show.
The month on month food and non-alcoholic beverages inflation rate stood at 22,63 percent in November, shedding 25,72 percentage points on the October rate of 48,35 percent.
Non-food inflation rate stood at 13,94 percent, shedding 18,96 percentage points on the October rate of 32,90 percent.
Finance and Economic Development Minister Mthuli professor Ncube has projected that Zimbabwe’s monthly inflation rate will fall to 10 percent by December on account of ongoing fiscal and monetary policy reforms. – Business Reporter.
