THE Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Dr Zhemu Soda, today held the first statutory meeting of 2026 with the board of Transmedia.
During the meeting, Minister Soda encouraged the board to accelerate the completion of all critical infrastructure in the country’s transmission network to ensure that the corporation fulfils its mandate of providing reliable signal distribution.
The meeting marked the first statutory engagement between the Minister and the Transmedia board this year.
The call to expedite the completion of critical infrastructure projects is in line with the Government’s Vision 2030 agenda.
