Inheritance drama unfolds in ‘Nami Ngikhona’

Mzansi Magic’s new reality show, “Nami Ngikhona”, has captivated Mzansi and caused a stir with its shocking revelations of family secrets.

The show’s premiere yesterday instantly captivated audiences, sparking online discussion, particularly on X (formerly Twitter). The first episode featured a family drama where a widow learns that her deceased husband left their home to his secret mistress through a will.

Each episode of “Nami Ngikhona” introduces a new claimant, who could be a secret lover, a hidden child, or even a known family member who appears and demands a share of the inheritance.

It’s not just about money, it’s about legacy, betrayal, and healing, Mzansi Magic emphasised.

The show revolves around ongoing South African family dramas that happen after marriage, cheating, and inheritance. This draws viewers’ interest as it reveals family secrets and marriage secrets.

The reality show, “Nami Ngikhona,” premiered on Mzansi Magic on Sunday November 16 at 19:30. Hosted by Kamohelo Bombe, the series’s first episode kicks off with the reading of a deceased family member’s will.

Bombe is a multi-talented South African figure who works as a TV presenter, producer, and director. She is also a recognised agricultural influencer, having recently received an award for her contributions in this field.

Known for her roles as a television hostess on SABC 1’s “Shift” and SABC 2’s “Living Land,” she has demonstrated a keen interest in agriculture. Beyond her media commitments, she is also directly involved in farming as a hands-on poultry farmer.

The hostess took to her TikTok account to promote the show, writing: “Don’t miss it… tonight at 19:30 on Mzansi Magic. This was one of the most emotionally challenging projects I’ve worked on. Grateful to finally share it with you.”

This resulted in an enthusiastic response on X, with the comment section filling up quickly.

One user, @PortiiaS, captured the excitement, commenting, “Tonight we meet someone brave enough to walk into a family they’ve never been part of to claim their place. It’s definitely going to be messy . . . Let’s see if they’ll get accepted.”.
