Injured Thabani Moyo left with a month on sidelines

BULAWAYO Chiefs attacking midfielder Thabani Moyo, who suffered fractured ribs among other injuries after their team bus was involved in a horrific accident in mid May will be fit to play in a montha��s time.

Moyo is still in the treatment room together with fellow seasoned player Qinani a�?Chromaa�? Sibanda who sustained a shoulder injury after the accident that saw their bus overturn at a blind spot along the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls road.

They were on their way to fulfill a Southern Region Division One match in Hwange.

a�?I was told to rest for two months after the accident. I am recovering well so I will be on the sidelines for another month,a��a�� said Moyo, a former Zimbabwe youth international who once had playing stints in Cyprus.

Moyo (ABOVE) said the injury robbed him of a fine run.

a�?It is unfortunate that I got injured at a time I was in great form. Anyway, such things do happen. I will rise up again and help my team accomplish its goal of clinching the Southern Region Division One championship,a�? he said.

In his last match in Chiefs colours, Moyo grabbed a brace against his other former paymasters Black Boosts.

Thabani is an elder brother to the inform Moyo twins, Elvis and Kevin, who are in the books of Premier Soccer League log leaders FC Platinum.
