LONDON.— Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho admits his side may be in trouble due to the injury crisis the Blues currently face ahead of a very busy match schedule. Chelsea, who are currently leading the English Premier League standings, are preparing to play four matches in the next eight days — a task Mourinho believes may be troublesome given their injury problems up front.
Injuries to Diego Costa, Loic Remy and the possible fatigue of Didier Drogba are all concerns for the Blues coach.
“I have only one day, we travel to London and we are travelling to Shrewsbury,” the Portuguese tactician said.
“We are in trouble because we have so many injured players. It is even more difficult for us to go. We have to go.
Chelsea were preparing to face Shrewsbury in a League Cup fixture last night and Mourinho was expected to make some changes to his starting line-up.
