Integrated Properties (Private) Limited has received ISO 9001-2008 certification for quality service management becoming the first real estate company in Zimbabwe to attain this status. Speaking at the handover of the ISO certificates in Harare on Monday, Standards Association of Zimbabwe director-general Mrs Eve Gadzikwa commended the company for setting the pace in the sector.
“ISO 9001 is undoubtedly a big achievement not for only for Integrated Properties, but also for the Zimbabwean real estate industry.
“Integrated Properties has set the pace for their colleagues in the sector, they are true innovators,” she said.

She added that ‘‘acquiring this standard will ensure Integrated Properties’’ clientele comfort and quality of service.
“Indeed, Integrated Properties you have allayed fears of many who had become wary of the practices of some bogus and unscrupulous players in the real estate industry fly by nights,” said Mrs Gadzikwa.

The director-general also urged all players in the real estate sector to emulate Integrated Properties by making the strategic decision to adopt relevant and applicable international standards in their businesses.

Integrated Properties chairman Mr Ben Chikwanha said that they met the target they had set for implementing the ISO 9001.
“We embarked on implementing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System targeting June 30, 2013 for certification and I am proud to announce that we did it,” he said.

Mr Chikwanha also thanked SAZ and his company for their commitment in the implementation of this standard.
“The route that we took was not easy at all but thanks to our committed human capital. High levels of pressure were endured by all our team members, without loss of focus and now we celebrate this great achievement,” he said.

Integrated Properties started operating in Zimbabwe in 2010.
