LUXURY passenger transport service company, Intercape has introduced a double fare discount for student travellers on its local and cross-border routes.

In a statement the company said students discount had been increased from five to 10 percent   and to benefit, students should have their student cards when booking.

Intercape plies the Bulawayo-Harare route, Bulawayo-Johannesburg and Harare-Cape Town routes.

“Students double your discount when you book between 9 to 12 October 2017 and get 10 percent off instead of five percent. A student card is required when booking,” reads the statement on the company’s website and official Facebook page.

The passenger service company said the month of October was meant to give its customers discount as they would be targeting students, seniors and child travellers.

In August this year, Intercape re-introduced the Harare-Cape Town service citing public demand as well as the need to give quality service to customers.

The company has hinted on introducing the Bulawayo-Cape Town service if  it is happy with the demand for the service.
