FREEDOM For All Nations Outreach (FANO) Ministries Church launched its first Zimbabwean branch which is based in Bulawayo’s Lobengula suburb on Friday last week.
The launch was done during a two-day crusade held at Lobengula Hall that began on Friday and ended yesterday. The resident minister at the newly opened church, Prophet Victor Nyoni, said the church came to Zimbabwe to continue its work of uplifting communities physically and spiritually.
“As a church our mission is to raise a greater generation and coming here to Zimbabwe we are hoping to impact the spiritual lives of our congregants and community through deliverance and salvation.
“We are not only going to end there but we will also carry out charity works through the Samuel Akinbodunse Foundation (SAF) which is already assisting 33 000 children by paying for their school fees across the world”, said Prophet Nyoni.
Prophet Nyoni said the church was involved in charity work even before the opening of their initial branch in Lobengula. He said they were involved in donating food and clothes to people at Mabhulane in Plumtree as well as helping orphans by footing their school fees and stationery expenses.
The launch was attended by the church founder Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse and various local and regional clerics. The FANO ministries’ new branch will host its Sunday services at Lobengula Hall at 9 am on Sundays while one-on-one sessions with the prophet will be from 12pm to 1 pm.
