adminLONDOn. — Manchester United fans have turned on Paul Pogba — just a month after he completed a world-record move to Old Trafford.
Pogba has played three times for United since joining for £89 million from Juventus. But he has failed to show his best form and some of the Old Trafford faithful have had enough.
United posted a picture of Pogba on their official Facebook page this morning with a quote which read: “I’ve always had United in my heart.”
But it went down badly and they were inundated with scores of angry responses. Supporter Tom Wall wrote: “You look lazy and unfit. Try sprinting to get back and help the defenders and learn to pass before it is the last option you can see.
“You have a lot to learn about playing in midfield and a little humility wouldn’t go amiss.”
Another added: “He lacks passion for united. Ibra has. Mkhitaryan also have but hes just stupid.”
While Henry Best posted: “Overrated player ever! Assist=0 goal=0 spending all his time on his haircut. Waste of money!!”
Abderrahmane Blgh commented: “You are the greatest mistake doing by Mourinho . . . a very ordinary player . . . with 120 millions dollar maybe MU has now verrati + kroos + thiago alcantra.”
But fellow summer Zlatan Ibrahimovic has urged Pogba to ignore the haters and backed him to hit it off at United. — The Daily Star.
