ZIM hip hop artist, Nkosilathi “Voltz JT” Sibiya, says he pranked his fans by suggesting he lost his flash drive which had his album.

The album was supposed to be launched on Friday.

After he failed to deliver the promise to his fans, who turned up in their thousands at Alex Sports Club, Voltz JT took to Twitter, where he shared his thoughts.

Pane akanhongawo flash drive redu ku launch nezuro?” reads the post.

In an interview with H-Metro, the Shamwari Yangu singer said he had a major setback and the post was a joke.

“It was a joke since everyone wanted to know why I didn’t drop the album as promised.

“The main reason why I failed to unveil the album was that one of the songs, featuring Takura, was not yet done.

“We are waiting for him to add his verse in one of the songs,” he said.

The talented rapper said he will release the album next week on Monday once everything is finalised.

“I have postponed the album release to Monday next week so hopefully we will launch the album online.”

His debut album consists of 10 tracks featuring Tamy Moyo, Takura and Dobba Don.
