THE two clubs who have won the last five league championships clash at Baobab this weekend with the champions seeking to get their first win of the season.

For the second season in a row, Ngezi Platinum Stars failed to win their opening game.

They risk dropping the points in the second too, when they take on FC Platinum, and Takesure Chiragwi is demanding an improvement from their first game against newboys Arenel Movers.

“I am hoping to see an improved performance from my charges compared to the one they put together last week against Arenel Movers,” said Chiragwi.

“That match was tough and, like I said, Arenel implemented their game plan very well.

“We managed to identify some areas which we have been working to address throughout the week.

“We need to play very well against FC Platinum, they are a good team and they have started their season very well.

“We are looking to redeeming ourselves in front of our fans.”

Defender Kudzai Chigwida, who gave a solid display in the first game, said they need to do more against FC Platinum.

“Well, I feel like there was a bit of complacency on our part when we played against Arenel.”
