JOHN 9:2 reads “His disciples asked him, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?’”
“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” answered Jesus, “but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.” Apportioning blame is almost as natural as breathing for many people.
A natural reaction for human beings in any given situation is to judge or blame others. The devil is always bent on pointing fingers at you; he is the accuser of brethren.
However, such is not the case with Christ.
He does not accuse anyone. As we learn from aforesaid scripture, Jesus exonerated both the man and his parents.
Some of the things you are going through are happening so that the glory of God may be displayed in your life; not that you have sinned or are cursed.
Some people have come to a point of concurring with the world and blaming themselves for the misfortunes they are going through.
Stop blaming yourself!
You are not the reason for your tears, you are not cursed that you are experiencing delays and it is not your fault that you are barren. People may choose to hate or betray you but it is not your fault, there is glory to be revealed in the fullness of time.
The case of Joseph is testament. For him, prison was just a pathway to the palace.
Christ is coming through for you.
Job’s friends blamed him for the calamities he was wading through. But was it really Job’s fault?
Were those people who were blaming the parents of the blind correct?
Who honestly would love to be blind or have a blind child?Listen more to what Christ says about you! He has declared you innocent, no one must come to condemn you. He has declared you healed, no enemy should tell you that you are sick. He has declared you blessed, no one should say that you are cursed.
You have not sinned that you are sick; are divorced or widowed. You may not be a criminal but you are in “prison” and you have not sinned that you are going through that wilderness.
Did the wilderness experience implore that the Israelites were sinners? Certainly not. It was just a path to their Promised Land. All these tough experiences are leading you to your Canaan; it is for the glory of God.
Jesus Christ is bringing restoration to whatever the world was blaming you for. Restoration is bringing something back to the original intent in the heart of God.
You have entered a season of restoration and recovery. Christ is opening your eyes today.
Recover your sight!, recover your children!, recover your health!, recover your joy, recover your peace, recover your victory and breakthrough. Recover all!
The works of God are about to manifest in your life as Jesus indicated in John 9:3. Hold on to your faith. The works of God are about to be revealed.
