IF there was any doubt before then this miserable result ends it all – Dynamos 0, Ngezi Platinum Stars 1.
Eleven points adrift of the leaders FC Platinum, with just SIX games left in the season.
Surely, it’s over now for the Glamour Boys and for the EIGHTH season in a row, they will not win the league championship.
In a bad weekend for the capital, CAPS United also lost and the Green Machine now face the grim reality of getting RELEGATED.
There was a time when Harare was the capital of trophies, in the domestic Premiership but that is now just HISTORY.
To make things worse, there is turmoil in the two camps.
On Saturday, CAPS United fans disowned their team and ended up saluting Yadah Stars for their impressive 1-0 win over the fading Green Machine.
They also demanded that all their players be fired.
Yesterday, it was the turn of the DeMbare fans to vent their fury on the club’s leadership and coach Tonderai Ndiraya.

An early strike from Ngezi Platinum Stars’ Delic Murimba, was enough to down the hosts.
Ndiraya and his crew were booed at half-time.
After the restart, he introduced Issa Sadiki, Tanaka Chidhobha and Tinashe Makanda.
The trio brought in some life but Dynamos, who have been poor in front of goal, could not get any breakthrough.
With about 20 minutes from full-time, the fans began to sing farewell songs targeting their mentor.
After the final whistle, things turned ugly when a fan threw a missile, which appeared to hit Ndiraya.
A group of fans even smashed the entrance window glasses just to find a way to vent their frustration on the coaches.
Ndiraya admitted, during the press briefing, that the fans are justified.
“If I was among them, I could have reacted the same way,” said Ndiraya
The angry fans had to be dispersed by police.
