THIS year’s Zimbabwe Agricultural Show opened its gates yesterday and promises to be bigger, and better, than last year’s edition.
The show is running under the theme, ‘Unique Business Opportunities, Accessibility and Abundance.’
The annual agricultural show, which is organised by Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS), was held under strict Covid-19 regulations last year.
A large number of people turned up for the show yesterday, geared up to enjoy themselves, and compensate for the two years lost to Covid-19.
Drummies got the opportunity to present and showcase mass displays before an appreciative and cheering crowd.
One show visitor, Chipo Chikasha, told H-Metro they want to enjoy every bit of the show, to compensate for the fun they missed, due to Covid-19.
“We are going to enjoy every bit of the show given it had been stopped due to Covid-19.
“My family and I will tour most stands to check for what we like from the various exhibitions,” she said.
Entrepreneurs have set up their exhibitions and are looking forward to a busy week ahead.
The show presents business opportunities for farmers, corporate leaders and other exhibitors.
It also has an assortment of fun-filled activities for the visitors.
The show ends on Saturday and its official opening will be held on Friday.
