SIMBA NDORO’s dream to bring the biggest names in Zimbabwean football to come and play in his hometown will be realised this weekend when the Dynamos bandwagon rolls into Shamva.

It will be a momentous occasion for the businessman and the club he created, Simba Bhora, to entertain his community.

The renovated Wadzanai Stadium was given the greenlight to host Castle Lager Premiership matches this season.

Last year, Simba Bhora completed their maiden campaign in the top league playing their home matches either in Harare or Mhondoro.

No one knows the significance of a positive result in this match more than the hosts coach, Tonderai Ndiraya.

Their 0-1 loss to Chegutu Pirates two years ago, in the ZIFA Northern Region Division One Soccer League, was the only loss they have suffered on home soil.

Dynamos coach Genesis Mangombe does not need anyone to remind him that DeMbare fans are running out of reasons to believe his excuses.

Simba Bhora are going into this fixture on the back of a 2-1 win over Yadah Stars and they are four points clear of DeMbare.

The hosts have netted four more goals than Dynamos in this campaign.

Dynamos have appeared lifeless without midfielder Donald Mudadi.

Simba Bhora will be happy to know that Mudadi is not available for selection and he is still on the recovery path from the ankle injury he sustained two weeks ago.

But, they also know that striker Alexander Mandinyenya will be outSIMBA NDORO’s dream to bring the biggest names in Zimbabwean football to come and play in his hometown will be realised this weekend when the Dynamos bandwagon rolls into Shamva. to prove that they were wrong to let him go.

He now plays for DeMbare.

Simba Bhora captain, Walter Musona, does not believe this fixture will produce another goalless draw.

“I don’t see a draw because we are very eager to make Wadzanai a lion’s den. No team will walk out with maximum points at this venue,” said Musona.

“Everyone is fighting at training and the mood in camp is very pleasing and, as the captain, it’s my role to encourage whoever gets the nod to play to be at their best to make our fans happy.

“Playing against Dynamos gives you motivation because of their status and it requires us to be at our best to avoid any slip-up.”
