It’s showtime on Star Bright

and he is the Greatest.
Now folks I met my good brother Barney Mpariwa or is it “Mr Absolute Magic” at the charity soccer match at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday.
Barney was ecstatic, as usual, probably because his team won 4-2 against the Print Media. But besides that, he indicated to me that Star Bright will never be the same again and that 2012 edition is showtime for real.
We are only a couple of weeks away before the talent show airs on ZBCTV but the vibe is that there is lots in store on this programme and maybe itis about time serious advertisers come on board to make sure that the show is bigger and better.
We can’t wait for the show!

The Talk II: This daytime talk show features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities who examine topical events and contemporary issues through the eyes of mothers. The daily, one-hour series is hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini and Marissa Jaret Winokur.
The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer. You can watch it on Wednesday January 18 at 17:30 CAT East.
Celebrity Apprentice III: This is a reality television spin-off of The Apprentice, where contestants have their business sense and leadership abilities tested in ordera to impress the boss, Donald Trump. Instead of trying to get a job with the Donald, the celebrities are playing to win money for their chosen charities. In each season, the celebrities are divided into teams and leadership responsibilities rotate amongst the celebs. The challenges are all business related, such as running a store or directing an ad. At the end of the challenge, the teams are brought into the boardroom for a critique by Trump and a few of his associates, often times a special guest with a connection to the challenge. This season’s celebrity contestants include Holly Robinson-Peete, Brett Michaels, Cindy Lauper and rock-star wife Sharon Osbourne. You can watch it on Thursdays at 19:30 CAT East.
