UPCOMING Zim Hip Hop artist, Lawrence “Juicer Limah” Chidembo, says he was inspired by a number of artistes to become a musician.

In an interview with H-Metro, Juicer said he owes it to some artistes for pushing him to pursue his dream.

“I have been inspired by a lot of artistes who have shown me that you can make it once you set your mind towards what you love.

“Some of the artistes who inspired me are Takura Shonhai and Winky D,” he said.

He added:

“Another thing that really inspired me to be a musician was the trend of Juicer.

“We already have the trends of Jah, for instance Jah Prayzah, Jah Cure, Jah Signal, Jah Master.

“Juicer was an outstanding trend with Juicer Mupostori, Juicer Dementor and now it is time for Juicer Limah, a new trend of Juicer.”

He said his journey began when he was about to leave his teenage years.

“I started music when I was 19 and it was more of a calling.

“It is what made me realise that I am a musician.

The 21-year-old is set to release an Extended Play called Talented One.

“I have 5 tracks that I have released so far and I have a project of 12 tracks that I am working on which are still in production

“It is more of an EP and it is called Talented One.

“I am still trying to get a few artists to collaborate with me on the EP,” he said.
