Music fans should expect nothing short of fireworks when the creme de la creme of local musicians celebrate the signing of the historical unity accord though dance and music.
The event, which kicks off at 8pm will spill over into Sunday morning, giving both musicians and fans time to make merry and partake in the joyous musical journey. Leading the pack will be some of

Zimbabwe’s top musicians, among them The Charambas, Jeys Marabini, Iyasa, Chase Skuza, Nicholas Zakaria, Sandra Ndebele, Ndolwane Super Sounds, Somandla Ndebele, Leonard Zhakata, Mbare Chimurenga Choir, Freddy “Kapfupi” Manjalima, Gift Amuli, Progress Chipfumo, Mahendere Brothers and the Bulawayo-based Mokis Connection.
What makes this gala exciting is the variety of musicians, who play different beats, and that alone would be a plus for the equally cosmopolitan crowd that will witness the all-night musical gig.

Revellers should look forward to the combination of Chase Skuza and Iyasa on stage, while the hyperactive Mokis Connection’s act, will have music fans talking for a long time to come.
Another drawcard for the show would be the female dancer-cum-musician, Sandra “Sandy” Ndebele, who is expected to wow the crowd with her “180-degree dances”.
With more than five albums to her name, the now heavily built dance diva from the City of Kings, surely knows how to rock the crowd, especially with her well-choreographed seductive dances, she often does to perfection.

On the gospel side of things, fans will be serenaded by the Charambas – Olivia and Charles – when they play some of their popular tunes such as “Mhinduro Iripo”, “Mukadzi Musamaria”, “Buruka” and “Nyika Zimbabwe”, currently receiving heavy rotation on local radio stations.

The couple’s humility and stage presence has earned them respect in both local and regional circles, making them one of the most sought-after musical couples in the country.
Speaking in an interview ahead of the gala, Pastor Charles Charamba said the Fishers of Men had made adequate preparations for the event.
“We will be there, and I know the show will give us an opportunity to reconnect with our fans through music.

“Such shows, afford us an opportunity to preach the gospel to the multitudes of people in one place, Inguva yekurumbidza Mwari, nemaropafadzo avanotipa,” he said.
Apart from enthralling Bulawayo music fans, the music extravaganza gives revellers time to reflect and pay homage to the gallant sons and daughters, who sacrificed their lives, to ensure the peace,

prosperity and unity we enjoy today.
Their selfless dedication and determination to secure the country’s freedom should be reflected in the music, dance and camaraderie that is expected to prevail throughout the night.
