Ivan Hoe shoot to top

Takudzwa Chitsiga Sports Reporter
ZIFA Central region side Ivan Hoe Mine dislodged perennial rivals Tongogara from the top of the log after an impressive 2-0 win over Silo United over the weekend.

Ivan Hoe, who finished third last season when Shabanie were promoted from the ZIFA Central Region One championship, scored their goals through captain Elson Njanji and Albert Goredema in the first half. Coach Julius Chakupehwa believes his side has potential but feels there is still a long way to go.

“We are progressing well considering that it is a new team altogether. We started to rebuild the team after seven of our players left with the coach who was here last year,’’ said Chakupehwa.
